Every person who sets up a seed box has the choice to either pay an annual subscription, or to not pay an annual subscription. Yes, you read that correctly. As explained below, you have the option whether to pay a subscription for your account.
If you elect to pay an annual subscription, simply create your account (i.e., create your seed box), go to the Profile page of your seed box and click on the "Preferences" tab. There you will be able to sign up for an annual subscription at the price of $59 on that page.
If you elect not to pay a subscription, simply create your account. There is no need to make a selection.
How does this work? Simple. We believe that some of you will want your seed box to be free of commercial advertisements. For those customers, we offer the annual subscription plan. As long as you pay the annual subscription, we will not advertise on your seed box. For those customers who do not wish to pay an annual subscription, we reserve the right to run commercial advertisements on your seed box. Like every other aspect of your seed box on GenerationTree, we strive to give you maximum control over what you show your family.
